Jesus what a long day. Last night I took the redeye to Dulles, landing me on the east coast at 7:15AMish. I ended up going straight to the AOL campus and getting some breakfast to last me through the day.
When I got there, I grabbed me a bit of a weird contraption. It was some kind of a yogurt with a bunch of frozen fruit, covered with cereal. It was good, but just not what I expected.
At 10:00AM, I walked into a monthly meeting that the product marketing folks put on for all the other associated teams. The meeting usually takes somewhere between 5-6 hours. We ended up wrapping up the meeting todaya little after 3PM. I then took off with my boss man alex and headed straight to the airport. Hope was to get an earlier flight. Of course, with my luck, all the flights were full. I ended up spending 2 hours at the airport.
While I was there, I did my best at installing Virtual PC on this new Mac. I got VPC working, but when installing Windows XP, it kept crashing on me. Suffice it to say that's incredibly frustrating since you have to start at the beginning. Finally I got to nearly 95% of the installation and it crashed yet again. I gave up at this point since it was nearly flight time.
On the flight, I spent most of the time sleeping and watching episodes of StarGate SG:1.
Fortunately, I thought a bunch of people were going to be coming and staying this weekend, only to my surprise they're not coming till the end of August. Now I get to spend my weekend learning to surf. Hurray!
Okay, I think I'm really falling asleep now. Talk to you guys later.
By the way, Happy BIRTHDAY KYLE.
