Going to Vegas last weekend was an interesting experience. We all went to celebrate Wen's bachelor party. But as he puts it, he is now 2/3rds married, and has likely been to two other bachelor parties. I'm sure he's looking forward to having all the madness end.
My trip consisted of me spending nearly all of my time inside the casinos. I've never done a trip like that before. Every trip I've had prior consisted of some portion of the trip being spent outside, wandering the streets. Not this one. It was all about gambling and getting our "drink on".
In the end, I came back $200 lighter than heading into the trip. I consider that a great success. Gambling in Vegas is still relatively new to me, but I must say, I'm thrilled to lost only that which I was prepared to lose.
Now that I'm back, I'm happy to have life go seemingly back to normal. I had the opportunity to work from home today, which I am thankful for since I got so much work done from my To-Do list that I feel I've made some significant progress. The list never seems to end, but at least it got shorter.
