Another Week....

It's 1:02AM on Monday morning. I've got roughly 1 more week before I head to Costa Rica for 12-14 days. I'm counting the seconds. I haven't been out of the country to go travel in several years. I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully there won't be a terrorist attack while I'm out of the country so that I can return without issue.

We're flying down to San Jose, Costa Rica and are going to spend our time there driving all over the country. I think when we get there, we'll likely have to spend a little time narrowing down our list of activities to a list of 5-10, so that we may ensure we can do them all within the time that we have there.

I definitely want to go and do some river rafting/hiking. I also want to go and snorkel or scuba dive while I'm down there. That reminds me, I have to go and find my NAUI certification card before I head down there. I must hunt for it tomorrow.

My weekend flew by so fast. I don't even recall what I did. I wanted to go surfing but we couldn't get motivated to go. The weather was shitty and we were being overwhelmingly lazy. I'm planning on definitely hitting some waves while I'm in Costa Rica, I'm looking forward to learning on waves that don't necessarily require a wet suit.

Today I went and played backgammon with Rupen for 2 hours at the Little Shamrock, near my house. I had a great time, even though I ended up losing 12 to 7. Poor Sophie spent the bulk of today in the house just being patient. I love her but feel bad that I can't give her the kind of freedom and attention that she had when she was living at Tom's house. Sad day.

So I've decided that I'm not going to say another word about Winamp until I have a definitive answer or understanding of where it's going and what's going to happen to it. There's been a lot of speculation that it's dead, all I say is just remain patient.

Anyway, I'm going to head off to bed. It's late and I have to wake up early tomorrow. To all a good night.

  1. Hey, no sad days allowed!
Sophie may have had all the deer to chase in all kinds of open space at Tom's house, but with you and Sharon she has the love of two people who think she's one of the best doggies in the world. Sophie is one hell of a lucky dog to have you both, and I'm one hell of a lucky person to know that the one thing I love most in this world is being taken care of by 2 of the people I trust the most. So there.
