Being Sick Sucks.

I am sick as a dog. So sick in fact that I can't even get out of bed right now. On Tuesday morning I woke up with a splitting headache, a cough, a slight temperature and completely sore. I was feeling so icky I ended up driving back home after a couple of hours at work.

Every day since, I've been getting sicker and sicker. This morning, I woke up completely congested, lacking hearing in one ear, brainsplitting headache, a swollen throat, and some seriously disturbing coughs.

To be honest, I'm not sure I've been this sick in years. Last night, I took a Tylenol PM and I was out cold by 10:00PM. Within minutes, I was so intoxicated by the drug. I was sitting on my couch, speaking with some friends who are staying over and all of a sudden I became immobile. I couldn't move my arms, I couldn't stand up. I was done. A friend helped me get off the couch so they can set up the couch bed. I ended up falling asleep moments later.

I wonder when this cold will let up. I'm doubtful that I'll get to leave my humble abode over the weekend. I need to force myself out of bed so I don't get to sore. Maybe in an hour, or two.

Time for more sleep.
