Sophie's condition continued to improve today. I'm still waiting for the results from her joint tap which should be in tomorrow, but at this point I'm inclined not to care. All I know is that the medicine she's taking is making her feel considerably better, that's all that matters.
Today, she had much less difficulty getting up and down stairs, greeting us happily when we come home. She is also carrying her bone around with pride, touring the house to make sure all knows of her triumph.
She is, however, wheezing in her sleep. I've never noticed that until recently. I'm not sure if it has to do with any residual symptoms from her condition or if it's something new. I hope that even the wheezing goes away shortly. I'm looking forward to taking advantage of daylight savings time spending the last moments of my day at the beach with the dog.
I feel as though I can finally relax and let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness.
